For a card that is a bit different, I decided to use the Peace, Dream, Believe Designer Blockprints along with some other word stamps on pegs in our line. I love the fact that you can easily center these words with hand held punches!
First, stamp the dotted block print in Memories Soft Wheat. From here out I will be using Verssacolor cube inks. Stamp "Always Remember" in Pinecone and "love" in Green Tea.
Center and punch out using a Medium Scallop punch.
Center and punch the cursive "love" image with a medium square punch.
Edge in Green Tea and Ash Rose.
Stamp leaves in Ash Rose on a round die cut. I used a Spellbinders Circle die.
Stamp Tiny Flower in Pinecone
Stamp Tiny Flower again, but this time in Bark.
Using the Tiny Fern, stamp around the edges in Bark.
Stamp the Tiny Fern again, turning the placement line towards the flowers, in Peony.
Edge in Ash Rose.
Using Encore Metallic Gold ink, stamp the antique swirl block repeatedly on a Spellbinders die cut, lining up until covered.
Edge in Bark.
Edge deep mauve card stock from scalloped rectangle die cut in Gold. Afterwords, run through a die cut machine using the Swiss Dots Cuttlebug embossing folder. Edge one half of a gold, inverted scallop diecut in Bark.
Add ribbon, assemble, and place on a 5 x 3.25 inch piece of cream card stock that is edged in Bark. Complete with a 5 x 8.5 inch piece of pale green card stock, folded in half. Add adhesive pearls and pop up sentiments using Pop It Shapes.

I love the dusty, "dry" flower colors used in this one; very autumn looking. I think the 'Always Remember' stamp would be good with the new patriotic hearts and firework bursts for a Sept. 11 rememberance card.
Thanks Ann!

That Antique swirl background is really beautiful and I think it would go great with your new skeleton key, dial, phone, etc. stamps to create a great retro look!

Love the way you use the block background stamps. I'm practicing to get a more natural look rather than the stiff appearance I usually get. Very pretty and different card.
