White card stock - 4-5/8" x 5-1/4"
Card-base (I used Green card stock) - 5.5" x 10."

White card stock scrap
Ink - Memories Soft Leaf and Soft Wheat; Archival Black, Sepia; VersaMagic Gingerbread, Hint of Pesto, and Coffee Bean; Brilliance Galaxy Gold; Versacolor Charcoal
Chalk - Burnt Sienna, Brown, and Butterscotch
Ribbon (I used two strips of green and white polka dot and on strip of black polka dotted ribbon).
PopIt! Shapes - Square
Scalloped rectangular die
Adhesive Pearls - Chocolate
Instructions
Make a rectangular hole in the middle of the large White card stock piece. The hole should be roughly 2 x 2.75 inches. Use the Butterscotch and Brown chalks to colorize the border. Now you're ready to stamp.
Stamp Mini Reverse 3 Leaf stamp in Soft Leaf.
Stamp Mini Reverse Fancy Maple in Soft Wheat.
Stamp Tiny Reverse Sturdy Berries in Soft Wheat.
Stamp the Mini Reverse Oak Leaf in Archival Sepia ink.
Stamp Tiny Poinsettia Bract in Coffee Bean and repeat with Hint of Pesto.
Stamp the Mini Thin Branch in Coffee Bean and again in Hint of Pesto.
Then edge the outer edges of this piece, including the window area, with Coffee Bean ink.
Glue the Brown scrap behind this stamped piece so that it shows through the window. Glue this to the Pumpkin card stock, then glue the Pumpkin card stock to the card-base. Set aside.
On the White card stock scrap, stamp the Owl block stamp in Archival Black ink.
Stamp the Mini Thin Branch in Bark ink.
Then stamp the Tiny Poinsettia Bract in Bamboo ink.
Line up the stamping in the die and run it through the die-cut machine (I used the second smallest die in the set). Edge the scallops with the Coffee Bean ink pad and then glue the rectangle to the piece of black card stock. Trim away the excess so that you have a black pinstripe. Then glue this to the Brown scrap and repeat the pinstripe.
Trim the ends of the Green and White ribbon pieces and glue down. Glue the Black and White ribbon to a Pumpkin card stock scrap, trim away the excess and then glue this down on top of the other ribbons you just fastened down. Using a PopIt! Shape, mount the Owl medallion on top of the ribbons, then add the Adhesive Pearls and you're done!

As usual, I have not been disappointed. In fact, I can't wait to see the next posted card! Have you thought of posting one daily...a week is too long to wait!
I just had an owl in my driveway yesterday-how do you time your subjects so well? Just love it.

Okay you always outdo yourself the colors are great as usual and leaves are always a favorite. I love telling people about your stamps. Any shows coming up?

Lovely card! Seeing your cards each week is making it difficult for me to limit the number of stamp sets I put on my Christmas list! :)

As always every little detail adds to the card. Take away one thing and it is still nice but not as fantastic. I always try to learn what the elements are that add up to the great cards (when I am not copying them exactly).

Love this owl set and the card layout. Faith Hofreichter has done some great cards with this set on her blog, Stamping with Markie's Mom. I'm still falling for those reverse image stamps - they offer such a nice balance to the other stamps. Thanks for the chance to win such an awesome set.

This is not a set I would have chosen (fear of owls) BUT I absolutely love the colors and the reverse leaf images. You continually amaze me with the samples you come up with. I love your stamps and love that you are "branching" out with the kinds of stamps and images available.

Wow, this is like a walk through our Vancouver Island woods right now. Hard to believe it's November with the trees hanging on hard to their leaves. Thanks for your inspiring card.

I love the colors in this card. I wish we had fall in Texas!

Hi Susan,
Love your card. Never realized
that there was so much more to
fall than changing leaves. We've
had a beautiful fall here in MI
this year. I love flowers, but
I'm glad to see you branching out
in your stamp sets. The little
animal stamps are darling. Keep
up the great work!
