Instructions
Run the Dark Red card stock through the embossing folder using D'Vine Swirls at the top. Then run the same piece of card stock through the Mesh Texture embossing envelope. Glue this to the Olive card base.
On a strip of Black card stock, stamp the following stamps and inks:
Mini Floral Celebration in Silver
Tiny Filigree Snowflake
Then, tear the edges, horizontally and sew stitches using the Red Embroidery Thread.
Glue the resulting piece to the card-base, on top of the Dark Red card stock.
Run the White card stock through with a Labels Four die and then stamp the following stamps and inks:
Mini Poinsettia in Burgundy
Itsy Gift Frilly Bow in Pinecone
Tiny Filigree Snowflake in Bark
Edge with Butterscotch Chalk.
Edge again with Brown Chalk.
Glue the label onto a piece of Olive card stock and trim away the excess, leaving a small pinstripe of Olive showing. Glue this ensemble to the card base.
Make Sentiment Medallions...
Stamp "Happy Christmas" in Black ink on a White piece of card stock. Then stamp the Tiny Poinsettia in Bamboo ink and the Christmas Celebration stamp in Burgundy. Line up in the smallest die from the Large Labels set and cut it out. Then ink the same stamp but mask off the "Christmas" portion of the stamp and stamp two more impressions. Cut out the two "Happy" impressions (I cut these two pieces out freehand). Edge all three medallions with Bark ink and Glue to Dark Red card stock and trim away excess.
Glue the medallions to the card base and you're all done!

Colour, textures and stamp set really capture the Christmas Spirit. Both traditional AND contemporary. A very clever card.

Another must have set! I did end up buying the Argle folder that you had on last weeks card. And I just got the Nestie from this weeks card, now to try to make something like yours, of course I don't have this set but maybe one of my other sets will somehow work. Thanks for the inspiration, and I love your stamps! Kathy Hering...

You make it so simply and PRETTY. Keep the great ideas coming.

I like the color combo, but this is one card that seems a bit busy to me. The black snowflake band and the extra emboosing could easily have been left off. Sometimes less is more!

Another great tutorial. I really like your idea of using the Nesties shapes and then RST stamps around the edge of them. Our group will be working with RST stamps tomorrow, and I'm going to cut some shapes for us to use. SUPER idea! The card is pretty, too. Thanks for sharing your creativity.
