It's no wonder that almost all baked-goods recipes instruct, "Bake until golden brown." Gold and brown are the base colors of warmth and good cheer and they make a perfect foil for the warm tones of red used here, Camellia and Cardinal. These brighter reds are a notch warmer than the burgundy we've traditionally used and they offset the sunniness created by the chalking effect. So... are you ready?

Instructions -
Today we will show step-by-step stamping instructions; although many of you are old hands at this, it is still nice sometimes to show all of the steps, especially for our RST newbies.
At other times, when we do not show such detail, we will direct you to our Animated Demos web page, which spells out the Rubber Stamp Tapestry techniques using many different sets as examples. We also have Video Demos as well! Please visit these pages as often as you like!
Use the Yellow-Orange and Sage chalks with the two Heart-shaped templates to create an outline for stamping. Did I say that we will start with a piece of White cardstock?
Next, stamp the Tiny Groovy Heart in Camellia.
Stamp the Tiny Groovy Heart again, this time with Cardinal. This will give just a bit more depth. If you have only one of the reds, that's okay, too.
Stamp the heart again, this time with Bark ink.
Next, stamp the Mini Dot Flowers stamp in Bark ink. The Bark ink has a lovely red tone, which works really well with this color scheme.
Next, stamp the Tiny Little Fern in Pinecone ink.
Then go back with the Mini Graceful Vine and stamp it this time in Sage, to flush out the wreath and give extra dimension.
Once you've finished stamping, go back with the two heart templates and redefine the heart shapes. This time, use Yellow chalk for the smaller heart and Brown for the larger (the first time, we used Moss for the larger heart).
Run the Old Rose card stock through the Victoria embossing folder and then run the Grass Green card stock through the Distressed Stripes embossing folder. Set these aside for now.
Use the Yellow-Orange chalk to colorize the edges of the stamped paper and glue it to the larger piece of Grass Green card stock (with distressed stripes going in a horizontal direction), leaving just a pinstripe of green on the top, and sides-- and about an inch on the bottom. Glue the ribbon on the section of green card stock at the bottom of the card.
Glue this piece to the Old Rose card base.
Medallions
Stamp "sending you love" on a piece of White card stock. Without reinking, stamp again, which will be pale. Then make another pale impression. Cut out all three and arrange on a piece of Brown card stock. Trim away the excess and glue to the card, over the Brown ribbon.
Garnish with Red Adhesive Pearls and you're done!

I was in the process of trying to decide which sets to get while the free postage is still available. You certainly aren't helping with this example! Choices, choices!

I love this card, Susan. Lovely use of color. Speaking of which, are there any plans to include paper packs on the site that would include the colors you use in your samples? Some of the colors are ones I am familiar with and have seen in stores, but some of them are not and I wonder where (what company) they come from. Thank you for all your wonderful ideas and detailed instructions.

I always need a boot in the butt once the Christmas cards are done and out to get started for the next holiday. This was a great boot! I'm so excited that my LSS is now carrying RST stamps! Yippee!
