Tailor's Heart says about all there is to say about Rubber Stamp Tapestry's mission. Back in the beginning, we envisioned our stamp sets as small packages of possibility. We wanted our customers to be able to create vignettes of classical design, making layered tapestries of stamped images using florals and natural botanical elements. With the obvious motif of the tailor's buttons, this stamp set brings us full circle to that goal. And even though Valentine's Day is a fine time to introduce it, it's not at all limited to this time of year! Hope you enjoy!

Instructions -
Run the Dark Khaki card stock, which will be the card base, through the embossing envelope and set aside.
Start stamping on the larger White card stock piece.
Stamp the Heart in Burgundy. and then again in Umber. Remember to stamp a second time before re-inking.
Then stamp the Buttons in Pinecone.
Next, stamp the Leaves in Sage and then again in Bamboo.
Last, stamp the Flower in Bark and set aside.
Take up the smaller White card stock piece and stamp the following inks and colors:
Stamp the Heart in Sage, then again in Umber.
Stamp the Buttons in Split Pea.
Last, stamp the Flower in Bark.
Edge the larger stamped piece with the Gold Paint Pen and then glue it onto a slightly larger piece of Brown Designer paper and trim away the excess. Repeat with Split Pea card stock and set aside.
Edge the smaller stamped piece with the Gold Paint Pen and then glue it onto a slightly larger piece of Brown Designer paper and trim away the excess. Glue to the larger stamped piece.
Next, make the heart medallion. Colorize the White card stock scrap by smearing with the Memories Soft Wheat ink pad. Then stamp the Heart stamp in Burgundy, Split Pea, and Pinecone on the colorized background and cut out.
Edge with the Bark ink pad.
Next, fasten the ribbon with the buttons. Start with slightly longer ribbon . For authenticity, I actually sewed the buttons on. Once you have sewn the buttons, you can add the medallion.
Arrange and glue the three Hearts together and mount on foam tape. Attach this to the ribbon and you're all finished!

What a beautiful new stamp set...
so old-fashioned and vintage in
appearance. It reminds me of lacy
Valentines of years gone by.
Thanks for the chance to win it.
