Butterfly landings are special events that may seem small scale to most people. But to butterfly lovers, it's a big deal to have a butterfly land nearby. Butterflies are some of nature's most beautiful creatures and their fragility and lightness add to their mystique. Antique Roses stamp set celebrates its own resident butterfly. Enjoy!
(Of course you have to keep scrolling to see the butterfly!)

TOOLS AND SUPPLIES -
Cuttlebug embossing folder - "Swiss Dots" and "Tiny Bubbles"
Round die - I used Spellbinders Standard Circles Large - (# S2-114)
Embellishments -Paper flower
INSTRUCTIONS -
Run the Purple card stock half-sheet through the "Swiss Dots" embossing folder and set aside. Then run the Light Green card stock piece through the "Tiny Bubbles" embossing folder. Smudge with Bamboo ink. glue the Black card stock behind the Green piece and then glue the resulting ensemble to the Purple card base, with the black strip up.
Make the Centerpiece -
Cut a circle out of the White card stock using the Round Die.
Stamp the Antique Rose in Grape.
Stamp the Antique Rose again in Old Rose ink.
Stamp the Bracken Fern in Sage...
...and then again in Olive.
Stamp the Dot Flowers in Bamboo ink...
...and then again in Hyacinth ink.
Stamp the Curly Sprig in Grape.
Edge the Round Medallion with Hyacinth ink. Set aside for a moment.
Use the Round Dies for the next steps. Make a circle of Purple paper slightly larger than the stamped White card stock and glue the pieces together. Then make a slightly larger Coral circle and glue behind the ensemble. Glue the medallion to the card base.
On a separate piece of White card stock, stamp the Stitched Butterfly first in Split Pea ink and then again in Grape. (Note: For the Split Pea butterfly, I inked the stamp in Split Pea and then edged it in Grape before stamping on the paper).
Cut out both of the butterflies. Glue down the Split Pea butterfly. Then fold the Grape butterfly at the wings and glue it on top of the Split Pea one so it looks like just landed.
Make Small Medallions -
On a strip of White card stock, use the Branch stamp from the Cherry Blossoms set and Memories Soft Wheat ink to create a background. Then stamp in Grape ink with the "Dream" stamp over and over, layering the text (I stamped several impressions without re-inking). Trim the paper to the shape you want and first edge it with the Khaki ink, then again with Grape ink. Set aside.
On another scrap of White card stock, stamp "forever" and Dream" in Grape ink. Trim the paper to a small rectangle. Then stamp the Antique Rose in Old Rose ink; the Dot Flowers in Grape ink; and the Curly Sprig in Grape ink. Edge the paper with the Gold Paint Pen. Glue to a slightly larger piece of Grass Green card stock and set aside for now.
Assemble the Pieces -
Entwine the paper flower around the "Dream" strip and glue to the card base. Then position and attach the "forever Dream" sentiment. Add the butterfly and a touch of glitter glue if you wish, and you're all done!

I love your repeated use of the Dream stamp. Using words as you do the floral elements over and over in different colors is brilliant!
