This week's project uses Watercolor Blooms, a set that I usually think of as a Spring set. I found that by changing out the ink colors and by using papers made in the warmer tones, it brings us right back into Autumn!
Stamps -
Watercolor Blooms stamp set
"Celebrate!" sentiment block stamp
Papers -
Rust half-sheet, folded (for card base)
Gold card stock - 4-1/8 x 4-9/16
Purple card stock - 1-1/8 x 4-1/4
White card stock
Inks -
Versacolor Paprika, Topaz, Grape, Green Tea, Hyacinth, Umber, and Bark; Encore Metallic Gold; Archival Black
Tools and Embellishments -
Cuttlebug embossing folders - "D'Vine Swirl" and "Textile Texture"
Gold Paint Pen - Fine Point
Adhesive Pearls - Copper and Pearl
Glue - I used Tombow MonoMulti Glue
PopIt! Shapes (I used Square) double-sided foam mounting tape
Gold Ribbon
Instructions -
Take the Rust card base and run it through the die cut machine using the "Textile Texture" embossing folder. Scuff the edges with Umber ink and then again with Bark ink. Set aside for now.
Take the Gold card stock and run it through the embossing machine using the "D'Vine Swirls" embossing folder. Then scuff the edges with Umber ink and then again with Bark ink. Then edge the top and bottom with the Gold Paint Pen. Garnish each of the four corners with the Copper Adhesive Pearls. Glue this piece to the card base and then set it aside for now.
Take a White piece of card stock and stamp the following, to make a circular wreath:
Stamp the Flowers in Paprika ink.
Stamp the Flowers again, this time in Topaz ink.
Stamp the Flowers a third time, in Grape ink.
Stamp the Leaves in Green Tea, stamping a second time before re-inking.
Once the ink has dried, cut out the wreath and glue it to the card base. Then make some cut-outs by stamping the following onto a scrap of White paper:
Stamp the Flowers in Paprika and then again, in Grape.
Stamp the Leaves in Green Tea.
Then cut all of the pieces out and edge with the fine-point Gold Paint Pen. Use the mounting tape to attach the cut-outs to the wreath you made earlier.
Next, we'll make the sentiment banner.
Take a White piece of card stock and stamp the sentiment, "Celebrate!" using Archival Black ink.
Then stamp Flowers in Hyacinth ink in and around some of the lettering.
Next stamp the Leaves in Green Tea.
Then cut out the sentiment with the florals, taking care to cut around as many of the letters as you can. Set aside for a moment.
Locate the Purple scrap of paper and, using scissors, trim the top and the bottom in a wavy pattern. Run the piece through the die cut machine using the "Textile Texture" embossing folder. Then use the Fine Point Gold Paint Pen and edge the top and the bottom (the wavy portions). Take the Gold Ribbon and wrap it around the Purple piece of paper and fasten down. Then glue the sentiment you just made to the top of the ribbon. Garnish the sentiment with the tiniest of the Gold Adhesive Pearls (note: I used Pearl-colored Adhesive Pearls and painted them with the Gold Paint Pen). Glue the sentiment strip to the card base and you're almost done.
Watercolor Blooms is not complete without the resident butterfly! On a scrap of White paper, stamp the Butterfly in Bark ink. When it dries, color in the wings with the Gold Paint Pen. Then cut the butterfly out and mount it with the double-sided foam tape onto the card base.
NOW it's done!

Hi Susan~
STUNNING! That is the first word that came to mind for me. BREATH-TAKING is the second. I absolutely love this. I would shadow box frame it, so you still get the depth, and give it as a gift!
Thank you so much for your wonderful items, tutorials and generous give-aways.
