Today we are making a Valentine card with Rubber Stamp Tapestry's Lovesong set. Navy and Gold look lovely together!
Lovesong Card
RSTapestry Love Song peg stamp set
Versacolor inks in Narcissus, Hyacinth, Grape, Green Tea, Neptune, Split Pea and Cardinal
Dye Black ink
Gold and Blue dotted ribbons
Popdots
Small shapes positioning template
Gold fine paint pen
11 x 4.25 white card stock folded in half (card jacket)
4.25 x 5.5 navy card stock, embossed with dotted embossing folder
2.25 x 5.5 gold card stock, embossed with birds and swirls embossing folder
Extra white card stock for heart and oval
Smudge Narcissus ink around outside edge of oval shape on a 4.5 x 4.5 piece of white card stock.
Stamp bird in dye black ink at the north, south, east and west points.
Stamp heart in Hyacinth. Stamp heart in Grape.
Stamp greenery in Green Tea.
Stamp berries in Cardinal.
Using die cutter, center scalloped oval over stamped area and cut.
Smudge scalloped edges in Hyacinth and then in Neptune.
Stamp bird in Black dye ink on white card stock.
Center small shapes positioning template (long heart) over bird and then smudge edges in Split Pea.
Stamp berry around edges of heart in Split Pea.
Dot around edges with fine, gold paint pen and cut out with small scissors.
Center heart on scalloped centerpiece with pop dot.
Dry emboss navy and gold card stock with design of your choice.
Dot around edges of gold card stock.
Glue front of card together and tie ribbon around it.
Glue to front of card jacket.

This is a beautiful piece. I love the heart stamp! The birds are perfect for so many different uses. These stamps are fabulous! I love the colors you chose to use...and the name for this is perfect!
