Yesterday I decorated one of Don's wheel thrown bisque mugs. What fun! The only thing you have to watch out for when decorating wheel thrown pieces is finger rings. Try to rib them out (smooth) so that you will get crisp stamped images. I love the contrast of the deep blue interior next to the decoration with a touch of the same color here and there.
What I really love about using the pegs to decorate bisque is the fact that you can stamp in small spaces like the back of the handle as shown below.
